Towards the end of the Average Age, the yellow is related on the disorder, the madness: the buffoons and the insane ones are equipped in yellow (the pope Joan). The yellow is associated with Lucifer, sulphur, and to the traitors. Paradoxically it corresponds to the misled husbands whereas originally it indicated the misleading one.
That which organizes the installation of yellow star in France calls Hellmuth Knochen. It is the assistant of Oberg as from spring 1942. It directs the installation of the extermination of the Jews of France. Its activity extends in Belgium and Holland.

EIGHTH ORDINANCE
from May 29, 1942 concerning measurements against the JewsUnder the terms of the full powerss which were conferred to me by Fûhrer und Oberster Befehischaber der Wehrmacht, I order what follows :
§1
Distinctive sign for the Jews
I. It is interdict with the Jews, as of the six years age completed, to appear in public without carrying Jewish star.
II. The Jewish star is a star with six points having dimensions of the palm of a hand and contours black. It is out of yellow fabric and carries, black characters, the inscription " Jew ". It will have to be related well obviously to the left side of the chest, firmly bent on clothing.
§2
Penal provisions
The infringements with the present ordinance will be punished of imprisonment and fine or one these sorrows. Measurements of font, such as the internment in a camp of Jews, could be added or substituted for these sorrows.
§3
Entry into effect
The present ordinance will come into effect on June 7, 1942.
