Name given to the German prison camps for troops and warrant officers, during the second World war.

Plate out of iron of the STALAG.VIII C of one K G ( Kriegsgefangener - prisoner of war ) No 32696, my uncle Pierre Carlo, prisoner in 40, it was released in 1945 by the Red Army. As much of men who lived this period, it was always very discrete on this part of its life.
